[Thinkpad] Upgrade Embedded Controller program to version 1.05 failed

There is a ThinkPad T43 (machine type : 1871), I try to upgrade its embedded
controller program to latest version, but I failed.

 

The update process stopped at the last step, it shows that update will be
finished in 30 seconds and machine will power off automatically, but it
didn't. After 10 minutes, I reboot machine manually, thanks god, windows up.


 

My current BIOS version is 1.24, embedded controller is 1.03.

 

Is there anyone knows how to deal with this situation?
