[Thinkpad] Fan on T40

I ended up finding these folks by calling IBM/Lenovo support.  It took a 
long time trying to convince the folks on the phone that A) I was 
confident that it was the fan and that they did not need to troubleshoot 
for me, and B) that "No thank you, I won't be shipping my laptop to you, 
I want someone in town here to fix it".  They finally gave me two names, 
one is no longer on the IBM team, but the other is.   Near DC, I'd think 
there's be plenty of places . . .
