[Thinkpad] This is... interesting

I just upgraded my A31p to two 160G seagate disks, from
two 120G disks. In the process of copying all the data from
the second 120G disk I started getting disk errors. Ultimately
I got 87G of 97G from that disk, but now I find that I can't
have that disk in my system at all. It locks the system up,
and more weirdly, turning the system off and replacing
the disk with the new one results in errors on the new disk(!).
I've had to take the battery out and wait a few to get the
system to reset itself and then everything is OK.

I found the Seatools diagnostic and it locks up after trying
to test the bad disk. It sees the disk geometry OK and all
that but locks up as soon as a test occurs.

I'm not too concerned about the data loss, as the important
stuff was saved. But I'm really weirded out that the disk
could effect the system across reboots. Have others seen
things like this?

Next will be seeing how hard it is getting a new disk from
Seagate. Glad they have a 5 year warranty...
