This is an issue w/ the inability of that monitor (and likely your old CRT)
to properly display the resolution that R&R uses in it's shell.  I think it
runs at 800x600.  A multisynch monitor would solve this.  LCD's can only
support certain resolutions, others are scaled to the closest match, often
cutting off edges as you describe.
