[Thinkpad] The Worst News I Have Read in a Long Time

Hello,

If memory serves, NEC bought Packard Bell in 1996 and took the company out
of North America.  They still sell computers in Europe and a couple of
countries in South America.  Hopefully, this is just a move to expand
distribution in those regions and Packard Bell's product lines will be
retired in favor of Lenovo/Think[Centre|Pad] products.
