I don't see anyone answering you.   there was a conversation on a
newsgroup sometime back where someone said that if a machine has a
graphics chip that is supported by the snap graphics drivers (the
commercial version) that it could be set to work.  

I don't know if anyone has actually tried it, and I haven't had the time
to research it, but its on my agenda since I'm thinking of a T61 somewhere
down the road.
