[Thinkpad] T40: no place to enter bios supervisor password

Why, one wonders, the limit of 7 characters on the supervisor
password?

Oh, I know, I know!

At least we know now that all supervisor passwords are 
breakable in no more than some number to the 7th power tries.
And that for those in the know, the password is more likely to 
be a telephone number or ...
