Ive some friends who specialise in Thinkpad spares and repairs.
they will remove a poweron or supervisor pass word for £25.00 0r your
money $50.00
It has to be a quick and easy method , but they keep it to themselves.
My guess is that they do it by degrading the bios to the 1st type for
your T21, then upgrade it to the bios it should have ie, the latest.
Ive not tried it but youve nothing to lose if you do.
Theres a cap in Austraqlia who will remove these pass words but you have
to access the eprom, get the hex? code off it , send to him , and hell
unscramble
it and send you the pass word.
Sods law ,ive a universal pass word for dell inspirons, no use in this
case!!.
Let us know if you have any success with this suggestion.
