Not sure where you got that trackpoint info, but the M65 does come with
a trackpoint. You can view that in the images if you go to the Dell
website and look at the M65 details. Dell has had a trackpoint on most
of the laptop models I've seen over the last 6 years, including the
C610, C640, D600, D4x0, M60. It does appear that the M90 does NOT have
one though.
In any event, I can't choose other models... we get either a D630 or a
M65. There isn't a lot of 'choice' in it for me, I was just wondering
about whether my D600 modular bay devices will work in the M65. I've
seen places (especially eBay sellers) that show compatibility matrix of
things like DVD-RW drives that includes all the Dx00 and most of the
M-series together, and pictures show that the modular bay drives look
the same, so I was hoping that the D-series modular bay devices would
work in the M65.
I am attempting to get the WUXGA model (1920x1200), but I may get forced
to the WXSGA (1680x1050) due to 'standard config choices'. I love the
1600x1200 of the 15" LCD on my A21p and my parents A31p, so I know the
WUXGA would be awesome for the type of work I do.
Thanks,
Rob
