That is a consideration to me, but I just can't regard CompUSA as my
friendly local shop. There is one ten blocks from me - and I drive past it
to go to a Microcenter ten miles away. I haven't even checked to see if this
one is closing (my earlier post was about a Chicago store). The staff isn't
particularly rude, but they don't seem at all pleased to have customers
bothering them, especially with questions. The store advertises all sorts of
specials, then doesn't have the products. If you're buying something that's
supposed to have a rebate, you're pretty much on your own finding the rebate
coupon.
