Mike,
The OP was inquiring about the feature where your one
desktop is split over two or more monitors. They might call
viewing the same desktop repeatedly an "Extended Desktop", but
a lot of us would not. Win2K does not support the big sky
country kind of Extended Desktop.
What Win2K does support might be called "Multiple Desktop"
(I just made that up), and certainly has its uses, for example
in presentations.
