Get a tomsrtbt or other bootable linux floppy
Partition the hard drive half/half
Make the second partition an "invisible FAT" (option in Linux FDisk)
When the computer is set up correctly, mirror the first partition to the
second.
Have the second available to mirror back to the first in case of screwup.
Details:
fdisk /dev/hda - to edit partition table
When that's done, install Win98
To mirror:
cat /dev/hda1 > /dev/hda2
To restore:
cat /dev/hda2 > /dev/hda1
For windows-only options, I strongly recommend ESET NOD32 Antivirus
(payware) and HijackThis anti-spyware.
