[Thinkpad] X30 and Widescreen External monitor?

Hello,

After installing the latest device drivers from Intel for the video chipset
and the monitor's profile information file from Acer, you might want to try
using EnTech Taiwan's PowerStrip program to set the display resolution to
match the monitor's native resolution:  <http://www.entechtaiwan.com/>

I have never had to use the program myself, but understand from others that
it works quite well.
