[Thinkpad] Do the maintenance floppies work for current models (z61p) too?

Hello List,
I recently had my Z61p in for repair and the baseboard was swapped, but
apparently the old serial and model wasn't flashed. I'm on the line with
support right now, trying to figure out how to get the data in with the
least amount of effort. Just in case they ask me to send it in again which I
obviously don't want to do ;) - would those disks down there work for my
current model as well, or just for older ones ?
My model is a 9452-3NG.
