[Thinkpad] Highest CPU in an X31?

But what's the highest I could actually stick in the machine? I noticed
that in tawbook.pdf.

1.5 is fine for now, although if I could get a 1.8 cheap, then I might
contemplate upgrading.

The memory is PC2700, so I don't think that'd be a problem.

Also, does anyone know when PC2 memory became standard? I'm still bummed
I'm stuck

with quite a few pieces of 1GB PC2 memory when my systems don't use it. It
seems that

PC2700/3200 is hard to find these days. And PC133 is impossible to find.

According to Thinkwiki, the highest available in that model is a 1.7Ghz
Pentium M.

to have something slightly faster, as it is a backup/alternate for my
T42p. I'm so happy that I've finally gotten rid of my T2x and X22 machines.
