[Thinkpad] T4x series' problem with ATI video

Hi,

Thanks for all those that answered my earlier posts, was a big help.

However, while I was googling for some answers, I came upon posts and articles describing how their  T4x series starts to hang, freeze, BSOD etc.  They attribute this to the ATI GPU coming loose on the board.  That this happens over time and because of motherboard flex.  Reading the posts gave me the impression that a lot of T4x users are afflicted by this.

How prevalent is this really?  Inputs from Bruce and from others that sell new and used T4x units and from owners of T4x series are welcome. Also from those that repair such units.
