I can offer that her statement about the 'cool upgraded screen' could get
her into a machine she won't like. Most companies sell a screen w/ some kind
of glossy finish intended to look great when viewing movies in a darkened
room.  But they are not good for text editing or other long-term screen
viewing in large part b/c they produce so much glare. So I'd steer her
towards anything w/ a non-reflective coating (which I think most TP's tend
to have)
