[Thinkpad] T42 Palmrest Crack

I recently took care of cracks in a T30 body. I could only see them
getting worse as time went on.

I'll quote David Ross's response to my similar question a few months
back. His answer/the fixing of said cracks worked very well:

  "The plastics on ThinkPads are ABS plastics, and the natural glues for 
  them is ABS solvent adhesives (often sold in the plumbing section of 
  hardware stores, but not to be confused with PVC solvent adhesives). 
  This is usually a black pretty close to ThinkPad black, though it *is* a 
  bit shiny."
