Made in Mexico, by IBM.
I've wondered if they practice good housekeeping, or whether in 
some forgotten room at their El Salto (near Guadalajara) 
facility, they might have pristine parts for the old 701 or
600* series.  Parts or even whole computers just languishing to 
get out into the fresh air and snap back a vintage tequila.
