Your decision may be an easy one.
Seagate drives have a five-year warranty. None others have more than three
year warranties.
At ZipZoomFly, my favorite reseller, shipping remains free.
You can buy the following Seagates at www.ZipZoomFly.com:
40 GB $55.60
60 GB $59.43
80 GB $97.50
100 GB $96.49
120 GB $95.40
Prices are also quite competitive at www.directron.com but they charge for
shipping.
We use these two vendors for most of our tech purchased. They are both fast,
thorough, and low priced (so far). I expect there are a lot of others not
named NewEgg which have similar deals.
