I picked up a WD passport 120GB from Bestbuy in Feb/07.
Primarily used for sync/backup of my home/work laptops.
Going good for me so far.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I decided to go with the buy.com WD
external drive, partly because it's half again the size I was looking
for at around the same price, and partly because it's a simple solution.
[And to think I paid hundreds of dollars for my first 500MB HD... X;{ ]
