How long do the Seagate Momentus drives last? Or rather, has anyone
here had a failure? I have one in my T42p, and use a WD Scorpio in my
external WD Passport. Both are 160GB drives, and very quick.
I've tried to stay away from the Travelstars only because they seem to
like to get louder after a few months to a year, even on the FDB
models. Also, what's the scoop on Fujitsu and Toshiba drives? It
seems that the notebook hard drive industry has become more
competitive again, as WD and Seagate were never big players in this
niche.
