[Thinkpad] Portable HD

I bought two 120GB WD Passport from Staples last month for our T41 and T42. It was pretty easy to take the enclosure apart as it was held by a couple of plastic tabs.

To my surprise, the first enclosure came with an IDE and the 2nd one was SATA. I checked (at least I think I did) both packaging and there is no way to tell whether it’s IDE or SATA in side.

The enclosure itself is not bad looking either...

Thanks to everyone who replied. I decided to go with the buy.com WD
external drive, partly because it's half again the size I was looking
for at around the same price, and partly because it's a simple solution.

[And to think I paid hundreds of dollars for my first 500MB HD... X;{ ]
