Hello,
I have had good results using a MacAlly PHR-250CC USB 2.0 and FireWire
(IEEE-1394) 2.5" external hard disk drive enclosure with hard disk drives
from Fujitsu, Hitachi and Toshiba with an IBM ThinkPad T23 and a T43p running
XP and Vista.
For the T23, the enclosure was used with an IBM FireWire (IEEE-1394)
CardBus adapter. For the T43p, the enclosure was used with both the FireWire
adapter and the T43p's USB ports.
Regards,
Aryeh Goretsky
