[Thinkpad] T60 lid switch

Apropos of David's T30 lid switch problem, and purely out of curiosity, 
does anyone know what mechanism the T60 uses to detect the lid position?

I note that it no longer uses the same pin-and-pushpad mechanism to 
detect when the lid is closed, in fact I can't see anything in the 
vicinity of the hinge that might provide that function, yet it most 
certainly does detect when the lid has been closed to within about 25 
degrees of being shut.
