Thus far, you haven't told us much about the initial issue, other than the 
complain itself.
No interested party could improve your situation based on the "no 
information sharing" policy you have taken.

The link you kindly provided to Bill Morrow's boards (and this one if 
searched) will find a mountain of information from RR users with varying 
degrees of dissatisfaction. Had you known that previously, you might have 
utilized a different backup solution.

Why MS System Restore wouldn't work for you, I don't know. Many 
possiblities.....but again, you don't share much information to help with 
the troubleshooting process.
