[Thinkpad] (Followup) Restoring from USB Not Working!

Thanks Matt and Alex for replying.

I'm simply rather furious that companies that I buy products from and
trusted left me out of the rain:

1) MS provided updates that screwed up. And I'm not the only one affected:

2) MS's System Restore doesn't work.

3) IBM's Rescue and Recovery doesn't work.

Why? I'm so glad that when I graduated, I do not work in the line of
maintaining consumer machines. Those of you on this line who do, I
salute you!
