Since I never saw any replies to the questions posted regarding the original
issue and the trouble you reported,
I went ahead and applied the MS updates that involved TCP/IP.........
with no ill effects.
Of course I had backed up my AC profiles and remembered to shut down the
program prior to installing Windows Updates, which I advise any time MS
wishes to trifle with the IP stack.
Upon restart, I opened the AC application and selected the appropriate
location profile; happily the software performed as it should and all was
well.
BTW, did anyone else know that the maximum number of profiles allowed was
64?
I hit it and got a nice message asking me to slow down and take a vacation
because I was working too hard.
Seriously, there was an application pop-up advising me of the limit and to
delete one of my existing profiles if I wanted to save the new one.
Another bit of useless knowledge to file away.
Good weekend to all.
Matt
