[Thinkpad] (Followup) Restoring from USB Not Working!

No idea how R&R works, but could you boot off of a BartPE CD, format your
internal hard drive (the Windows Partition), and Copy files off the USB HDD?
Once done, the Windows "Recovery Console" should allow you to get booting to
work.

If nothing else, what's wrong with just working in Linux? (I don't have
Windows on my T23 at the moment)
