[Thinkpad] Is a 12" Screen (X60) too small to use as a full time machine?

Hi everyone,

 

I need some practical advice regarding the X60. Is it too small to use as a
full time work machine? Could someone who uses this or a similar machine
offer some advice? 

 

I'm going into my second year of law school and want to replace my R32 with
something that has a decent battery life - and is small enough to walk to
Uni with.

 

It would be my only computer, and purely for typing notes and assignments.
So I was wondering if a 12" screen and tiny keyboard would be too small to
use on an everyday basis for this purpose.
