[Thinkpad] Thinkpad cleaning in dusty environment?

I agree, both about the pantyhose and watching the very temperature
carefully if you try it. Laptops just don't have the ventilation of desktop
machines.
More suggestions:
If there are any window or other portable air conditioners around, you might
want to try a little snippet of the dust filter from it.
A laptop "desk", a little tray sort of thing with built-in fans; I think
they run about $30 retail.
Put the TPs in closed bags whenever they are not in use.
In that environment, you might need to fight the dust with more than one
method.
