Based on this I should *probably* just buy Netgear; however, these
routers have a reputation of dropping connection to the cable modem, and
requiring regular rebooting.  I have this problem myself with our
current MR814, and while we didn't have any such problems with the
WGR614 we used most of last year, that was revision 5 and the problem is
supposed to be worse on older (<=rev.4) and the newest (>=rev.7) models.
(Fry's often sells rev.4 refurbed for a paltry $20, if it was rev.5
instead I'd have bought one already.)

Thanks to Jon E. for letting me know that the Linux-based Linksys
routers have keyword filtering; I will keep my eyes open for a deal on
the WRT54GL.
