[Thinkpad] OT - Thinkpad T60 shipping dates

Hi,

I tagged it as OT for the non technical nature of this question.

Can anybody guide me on Thinkpad shipping dates? I mean do the dates
quoted in your order status hold true or there is a possibility of it
getting further delayed? Can it take more than 8-10 days?

I booked a T60 online yesterday and the order status is showing me
the shipping date as 11/30! I am travelling here on business in US
and will be leaving around 11/18 back home.

I called up there helpline number and they told me to wait for a
couple of days more, to get a realistic picture. Finally, how early
do you have to place an order cancel request?
