[Thinkpad] T43 Problem installing Bluetooth 5.0

Hi,
I used the Thinkpad Software Installer to upgrade the bluetooth software. It
first gave a message that the old Bluetooth 4.0 software must be uninstalled
manually before proceeding. Once I did that, the 5.0 software doesn't get
installed. It gives an error message - Please execute ' setup.exe' for
install or upgrade.
I tried manually locating the install folder and running setup.exe from
there but that doesn't work giving this same message.
The software installer doesn't even show the old 4.0 software now so I am
not even able to revert back to the old version.

Can anybody suggest me how to revert back to the 4.0 version or get this new
one to work?
