[Thinkpad] T-23 network connection problem - SOLVED

And do I feel stupid, as if I could feel any more so during the recent re-format and re-installation. I simply needed to unplug and re-plug the cable modem so it would assign a new address. To play with this some, I moved the cable, which was now connected to the internet, from the T-23 back to the Toshiba. The Toshiba wouldn't connect until I powered down and back up the cable modem. Okay, so now I know...again. This won't be an issue since I'm gonna make the Toshiba my office machine and the T-23, now screaming with 768 meg of RAM on an 80-gig hard drive, will by my road warrior.
