[Thinkpad] OT: Dan Rather

So, basically, If I create a memo stating that the planet Pluto is made up
of Green Cheese, and there are no facts to refute that, it should be
accepted as true???  Come on!!!!

In the legal system, there are rules that disallow factual evidence, if the
method by which the information is obtained is illegal (Fruit of the
Poisonous Tree, I think it's called..)

Shouldn't we hold the news media to a similar standard?
