I don't think I've ever heard of that being done on a laptop, but
I don't see any reason why a system that is software based
wouldn't work on any ThinkPad that has an Ultrabay.  An interesting
thought.  That, combined with the built in UPS that ThinkPads
have, and you have a more fault tolerant system.  Interesting.
