I know a few people who have attended their dhikr in the  center in 
Washington, D.C.  The basic feeling they had was that it was  somewhat cult-like.  All 
the mureeds dress alike in uniform fashion and  swoon when the video of the 
head shaykh is played.  Primarily, his  teaching is about keeping your teeth 
clean and such like.  They are in  contrast to other Sunni Islam tariqas in many 
ways and cater more to Farsi  speaking people.
