HOWL. Discussion Note 1
o~~~~~~~~~o~~~~~~~~~o~~~~~~~~~o~~~~~~~~~o~~~~~~~~~o~~~~~~~~~o
I've heard about the Pragmatic Web project for several years now,
and what I've heard does sound intriguing in its implications from
the perspective of a -- what? -- computational semiotician, maybe? --
yes, that sounds good enough for now. But I haven't gotten around
to following the links to this list till now, largely because I've
been spending more time in wiki environments than email lists, but
I thought I'd find out what kind of forum this is, real discussion,
or just for conference announcements. There are only of couple of
lists I follow where actual work and problem solving, of the order
that advances a field bit by bit, really gets done anymore, and it
may be that we are seeing a trend there.
Oh, the title means (1) state of the art (2) obstructions to truth.
Till next time ...
