I was recalling this from work that I did in the mid 80's,
when I used the classification scheme in Plato's 'Sophist'
as a case example for a tree-processing program that I was
working on at the time.  I find a few files from my old PC
that are just barely still readable, so here is one of the
outputs of that, what looks like the outline form of a tree
that the Elean Stranger was induced by Socrates to trace out
in the process of attempting to pin down what sort of creature
a Sophist might be.  As I recall, the Stranger took the simpler
case of an Angler as a paradigm preliminary to tackling a Sophist,
so you will see the classification of the Angler also in this tree.
