Co-Incidental Musement?
Some readers may be interested in the observation that
the phrase "acquired nature" appears in many traditional
catechisms, in the rubrics of doctrine that are concerned
with the transformative powers of the sacraments, typically
appearing in tandem (or better yet, tantum ergo) along with
phrases like "indelible mark upon the soul" and especially
"outward sign of inward grace".
