Peirce had already followed through the implications of a still
more radical relative turn, rendering relative to the onrushing
frame of reference all of the erstwhile irrelative distinctions
among individuals, subjects, and predicates.

What does this mean for metaphysics?

It means that there is just plain no hope anymore
for that 1-time 2-gone parler rheme sport, to wit,
reading the ontology of a departed being from the
syntactful testimonial of its residual T leavings.
