Michael,
Wikipedia, and more lately Citizendium, violate so many of the ideals
of open-sourcing and dispense with so many of the original advantages
of the wiki model of collaborative software that it has become all but
impossible to enumerate them all. As far as the ideals of collaboration,
dialogue, and transparency go -- Wikipedia has become such a travesty that
it renders those who have seen its underbelly incapable of knowing whether
to laugh or cry first.
