DN: IYO, does "formal" equate to normative meaning explicitly documented
so the knowledge represented can be shared? Is it generally in the
    right direction?

Hi Duane,

I'm getting 'round tuit, as they say, but it's been a long week and
I really need to be out eating, drinking, and being merry an a' that,
so maybe I'll try to get the relevant Peirce quotes logged in at least
before taking off, and then discuss how I read them later this weekend.

Cheers !
