It seems that I am remiss by way of justifying
a number of my current practices within e-fora.
How can I gain your sympathy?  I am at an age
where I am feeling my age, as I have been for
lo! the last quarter of a century or so, and
it my keenest kenning to do something about
the deplorable state of knowledge and wits
in the several domains in which I imagine
that I may be graced or cursed to do so.
I have thirty years worth of largely
unpublished work behind me, working
mostly in painful isolation, and I
have no desire left to add to the
lot of it.  E-space is the place
where I currently work, and the
only way that I can see ahead
to do what I feel has to be
be done before I go is to
work it out together in
an open public sphere.

That's enough, though there's more,
all of the rest of the rest of it,
befora rest, may be found rather
clearly and obviasly to follow
in a logical practical manner
from what I have already said.

I hope that this, my apology, acts
to alleviate any mis-apprehensions.
